Account Set Up
We request that customers create a MegaGear account and you will be required to login to complete a purchase, create or view your Wishlist, order history, and to track orders . We will store your billing and shipping addresses and contact information for the purpose of filling orders.  If you use a credit card the information will be encrypted and stored on our secure server.  This allows you to reorder without reentering your payment information.  You will be given the opportunity to opt out of this feature during checkout.

Currency
All merchandise prices and shipping costs are in US dollars (USD). We cannot figure out conversion rates. Please check with your local financial institution for currency conversion rates.

Gift Certificates
You can purchase gift certificates through the Help link at the bottom of the site.

The gift certificate code is entered during the checkout process as payment. Any remaining balance will remain on account to be used at a later date. Orders placed using a gift certificate as payment will be assessed shipping and sales tax if applicable. The gift certificate will apply towards shipping and taxes.

Payment Options
Domestic - We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and US money orders. We do not accept personal or business checks.

International - All international payments must be made via PayPal or international money order/bank draft.  We do not accept wire transfers.  

Credit
You MUST enter the exact address where you receive your credit card statement for the billing address. This address is used for verification of your credit card. Your card will be declined if you use a different address. You may use a different address for shipping.

Money Orders
Money orders should be made out to MegaGear Inc. and mailed to 525 E. Michigan Ave, Saline, MI 48176. Orders will be cancelled after ten business days (US) or 15 days (international) if the payment is not recieved.

PayPal
You will be automatically directed to the PayPal login page.  You must have a PayPal account prior to placing the order. You may sign up for a PayPal account at www.paypal.com. After completing payment check you account to verify the funds were transferred.  Orders with incomplete payments will be cancelled and you may reorder.

Return and Exchange Policy
You may return a product for a refund within 30 days of the order shipment date. If within 30 days you find that you ordered the incorrect item, wrong size, or simply changed your mind, we will refund you for the purchase amount (less the shipping cost), provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original "new" condition and the original packing slip is included with the returned merchandise. When your return is received, you will be issued a refund in the method you originally paid.

If you wish to exchange an item you will need to reorder the correct item.

If we shipped you the wrong merchandise, or it arrived defective or damaged, contact us at service@megagear.com for instructions.

Sales Tax
Our office and shipping facility is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Customers who reside in Michigan will be charged 6% sales tax.

Shipping Policies

Shipping rates are determined by weight and destination. Use the convenient online shipping calculator to get real time shipping costs.

United States
Orders shipping via UPS are shipped within 1 to 3 buisness days with most packages shipping the next day for orders placed by 11:59 PM EST the day before. Packages ship Monday - Friday from Ann Arbor, Michigan.


Shipping options for the 48 contiguous states are UPS Next Day Air, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air or Ground. Please view the Time In Transit map above for our location and estimated shipping times. If there is a delay or the merchandise has become unavailable, you will be contacted via email. Tracking information is available by logging into your MegaGear Account and checking the order status. We do not offer delivery confirmation for packages under $100.00. If you do not want a package left at your home address please send it to your business address. A physical street address is required for shipping. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes via UPS.

Options for Alaska and Hawaii are UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air, and USPS Priority Mail. USPS Priority Mail ships out on Fridays. There is no tracking with USPS shipments.

Puerto Rico must use UPS Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air.

APO/FPO Address
Shipping is available to APO/FPO addresses via USPS Priority Mail. Packages are shipped out once a week on Fridays. When creating your address enter APO or FPO (we need this information for customs paperwork) in the city field and use the AP, AE, and AA state codes provided in the drop down box.

Shipping International Orders
International Orders - you must use the PayPal or Money Order option for international orders. We cannot accept non-US cards.
- Do not use non-standard characters. Non English characters can delay delivery or result in your package being returned to us.  

International packages are sent once a week on Friday for orders recieved by midnight Wednesday. Orders placed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday ship the following Friday. If paying by money order the orders will ship when payment has cleared the bank. Online shipping rates will be returned for USPS Airmail Letter Post for under 4 pounds and Airmail Parcel Post for packages weighing greater than 4 pounds. Shipping takes at least 10-20 days but may take up 6 weeks to arrive in your country after the date we ship depending on customs. We must wait at least 30 days before tracing packages. There is no tracking with the US Postal Service.

When placing an international order please be aware that you will be charged customs fees including duties, import taxes, and brokerage and processing fees which are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges. The Customs agency in your country can charge you at the time of the delivery or invoice you later. As the purchaser you are the importer of record and are responsible for all charges. Please check with your local customs office as MegaGear Inc. has no control over these charges.

If you choose to refuse delivery of the package, it will be returned to us and we will be charged the custom fees and the cost of return shipping. If the package is refused and returned to us there are no refunds for refused packages. International packages which are missing or lost will receive replacement merchandise.

Tracking
You may track your order by loging into your MegaGear account and reviewing your order history. Tracking numbers are emailed when orders are shipped and you may also check tracking at www.ups.com.
